There are two sides to every significant event—one of light, and one of shadow. In life, joy and sorrow often walk hand in hand. A joyful union today can face turbulence tomorrow. Marriages once filled with love may break down, giving rise to broken homes, displaced children, and a cycle of deviance in society. The same can be said for friendships and alliances: shared purpose may be disrupted by sudden conflict, leaving behind generational wounds.
In much the same way, war—especially nuclear warfare—leaves destruction far beyond the battlefield. Of all forms of conflict, atomic bombings are among the most devastating and inhumane, not just because of the immediate impact, but because of their lingering, generational consequences.
A single atomic explosion can take the lives of tens of millions, destroy vast ecosystems, and leave behind long-term radiation that causes cancer, genetic mutations, and irreversible environmental damage. Survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki suffered acute radiation sickness. Within 5–6 years, leukemia cases soared. After 10 years, thyroid, lung, and breast cancers rose dramatically. These effects ripple through generations—devastating not just people, but the planet.
Some scientists predict that even 100 Hiroshima-sized detonations could lead to a nuclear winter—a scenario in which the Earth’s atmosphere is filled with soot, blocking sunlight, disrupting global food chains, and plunging humanity into a prolonged environmental catastrophe.
The effects of nuclear war do not support growth, progress, or development. They bring calamity, economic hardship, sickness, ecological imbalance, and irreversible trauma.
But I come to you with hope.

Nature, under divine law, operates with perfect harmony: order, balance, and peace. When we disrupt these principles through war or greed, we unleash chaos, and the consequences—sickness, death, and climate catastrophe—fall upon us.
